During the month of October, Hallow's End was celebrated in Lordaeron. There were several smaller festivals leading up to Hallow's End. One was somber, one was celebratory, and this one was a bit of both. It was believed to be a time when the barrier between the living and the dead was thin, and those who had passed on could be sensed by those still alive. Tradition had it that at the end of the harvest season, before the winds of winter began to blow, that a straw effigy would be erected right outside the palace. At sunset on the night of the ceremony, it would be lit on fire. It was an awesome sight a giant flaming wicker man, burning bright against the encroaching night. Anyone who wished could approach the fiery effigy, toss a branch into the cracking flames, and in so doing metaphorically “burn away” anything he did not wish to carry into the quiet, deep reflection time provided by winter's enforced inactivity, such as emotions (fears, sorrows, old loves, new hates). It was a peasant ritual, sprung up from time immemorial. Once, the effigy was burned by Jaina Proudmoore.

During the Hallow's End, the Headless Horseman was created in the Scarlet Monastery by Balnazzar using fel energies over the dead body of Thomas Thomson. We would also like you all to have fun with this Limited Time event!!

Alot has happened on Transcend the past month. Staff has been replaced, some resigned, some fired. We've been under constant attack for almost two weeks, both on Discord, In-Game, Website, Database, everywhere. We have been working in silent and secrecy due to theese facts and there hasn't been much happening on the front. Lynndra has been an amazing asset as to keeping events active and taking care of tickets. I have been focusing mostly on aiding Para with security and protocols and this forum. The forum is meant to be a gathering place for all of us to share information, stay up to date, host forum events and giveaways. I will continue to work on this forum along with the server with Anubis and Parasinus. Anubis has also been and is a great help to us all with his incredible skill set. He will continue to work here and help us move forward. Currently they are working on updating our server core and our security. They also set us up a GitHub for bug reports which you can find here


They will keep working with the server in all aspects:

Balacing classes & spells
Making new content
Updating the server core and it's features
Making sure it's always up to date
Server stability

Well, what's happened in the past you might think?

Former Co-Owner and friends tried to break the server by deleting almost 50% of all the accounts
Same people gained access to some GM's account and gave away free DP and other items
We were targeted by known hackers (our guess is because previous people paid them to attack us) and got heavily DDosed
We had a breach in our DB's
We were under heavy DDos attack once again
Attempts to hack our DB and server
Another DDos attempt was made again, this was the biggest ever and resulted in our server hosts ending our plans so we had to find new hosts for our servers
We're constantly threatend by these people, they keep appearing on Discord, on the Forum, In-Game


We will keep doing everything in our power to maintain a stable, evolving server. At the moment our time is restricted due to the fact that alot of time goes to protecting us, making sure we mitigate their attacks and so on. At this point we do believe we've managed to tighten our security to a point where we can start focusing more and more on you and the content of our server.

We've also decided to add 100 DP to all players due to recent events, along with this 100DP another 50DP will be added to thoose registered on the forum. There's also 5 winners of the event which Naeksu will talk to personally and send their rewards.
